  • What is Volumetric Weight, or Dimensional Weight?

    Volumetric Weight, or dimensional weight, is used when the space occupied by a load in a car or an airplane may be greater than the actual weight of the load. Compare this to your actual weight and use the higher of the two shipping rates. The volumetric weight for international shipments is calculated using the formulas below. Length x width x height in centimeters / 5000 = volumetric weight in kilograms rounded to the nearest 0.5 kg.

    Dimensional scales of volumetric weight for individual carriers:

    • UPS: L x W x H / 5000 = weight in kg
    • DPD: L x W x H / 6000 = weight in kg
    • GLS (max.dimensions: length 200cm, height 60cm, width 80cm, length + circumference: 300cm

    The valuation takes into account the higher, actual or dimensional weight.

  • What is the prohibited content of parcels?

    • Perishable, infectious, or odorous products, human and animal remains, live animals and plants
    • High-value goods, e.g. cash, precious metal, valuables, real pearls, precious stones, etc.
    • Artworks, with incalculable values, temperature-unstable goods requiring controlled temperature

  • Can I send a parcel to your address using Cash on Delivery (COD)?

    No. In this case, the parcel would be refused and it would go back to the sender.

  • How can I pay for my order?
